VELOX Media is searching for an experienced and talented Director Sales Operations to accelerate our growth, manage full SDR team strategy and our full cycle sales team pipeline.

This is a full-time in-house position at our office in Boise, Idaho.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize our CRM to enhance functionality, usability, and efficiency, ensuring it is an effective tool for sales enablement and operations. 
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
  • Lead, mentor, grow and motivate a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to maximize individual and team performance.
  • Drive sales pipeline development and management, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely closure of deals
  • Identify market opportunities, emerging trends, and customer needs to develop innovative sales strategies and solutions that differentiate our products and services.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, client services, content, operations, and other departments to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, market trends, and competitive activities to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous optimization.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Marketing and Advertising industry landscape, including market dynamic and agency competitor positioning
  • Drive a culture of accountability, teamwork, and excellence within the sales organization, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Leading all inbound lead generation team and outbound sales teams
  • Build and nurture a robust sales pipeline with weekly reporting to the executive leadership team
  • Accurately forecast sophisticated, long term sales cycles
  • Assist in hiring and onboarding new sales development representatives and digital growth specialists and continue the expansion of the team
  • Participate in leadership meetings to report on our topline growth strategy and accomplishments

Required Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills

  • Navigate complex, full-scale digital marketing sales cycles with a consultative based approach to mathematical ROI selling
  • Collaborate with leadership, sales operations, inbound marketing, and web lead teams to bring the voice of the customer to everything we do
  • Track record in building sustainable lead generation and high-performance sales teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field, or equivalent work experience required. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Requires 8+ years of agency, digital marketing, and or relevant SAAS sales and team management experience with demonstrated team quota achievement
  • Prior ownership of acquiring new accounts as well as scaling existing accounts
  • Demonstrated skill in mentoring account executives and managers to achieve quota month-over-month
  • Executive presence and ability to own the room with the prospective client and current clients
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and performance optimization.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a results-oriented attitude and a passion for driving business success.
  • A leader and a manager — you can and will rally the team, in addition to absorbing current processes and putting all of the systems in place to succeed
  • Digital Marketing Agency experience a plus, with deep knowledge of Organic Search, Paid Search and Social Marketing campaigns within an agency setting

  • Ability to office in Boise, ID, and travel 10%+ to attend conferences or expos.
